Block count command generate list of blocks within a drawing. Apart from the list of total number blocks of different types, it can also count blocks in the drawing layerwise.

1. Start the command by typing BCOUNT.

2. The Block Count dialog box will open.

3. In the Select Layer dropdown, select All to count blocks from all the layers in the drawing or select the layer name to count blocks of that particular layer.
